I have been playing chess since I was 4 years old and started competing in chess tournaments at 10. Fast forward 13 years, I am finishing my Msc in Software Engineering and Computer Science at Instituto Superior Técnico - Lisbon, while looking to improve as much as possible on the 64 squares and go from International Master to the highest chess honor - Grandmaster.
Grandmaster: I need to get 3 GM Norms A GM norm is achieved by scoring a required performance rating in an international tournament against very strong opponents. and surpass 2500 FIDE Elo FIDE Elo is a numerical rating system that rules the chess world. FIDE is the Chess International Federation. to achieve the title.
I am investing a lot of time and money into chess and we'll see how far I can get!
Being an obsessive learner, I love sports, learning new languages, and stuff like that. I currently speak Portuguese, English and Spanish flutently and am looking to expand that in the future!
